How to book your place

Admissions process at Cohousing

1/ Apply for a place

Complete the form that you will find below and tell us which plan you are interested in. As soon as we receive your application, we will contact you to introduce ourselves. We will tell you whether there are places available and how you can pay the reservation fee to continue with the admissions process.

2/ Book your place

To guarantee your place, you need to pay a deposit (240) and send us proof of being registered at the university. If, ultimately, you are not accepted into the university you apply to, don’t worry, just send us the proof and we will refund the deposit amount.

3/ SELECTION +CONTRACT

We will contact you to look at the best choice of flat and flatmates, depending on the plan you apply for. We will send you the contract, which you should sign and return to us and, in order to confirm the booking, you will need to pay the bond for the flat. Meanwhile, we will give you information and advice and get everything ready for your arrival.

    Frequently asked questions

Our apartments are located in the neighbourhoods of Iturrama, Mendebaldea and Azpilagaña, near the campus of the University of Navarre and the Public University of Navarre.

Yes! Our flats have space for between 3 and 5 people. Come with your group of friends and book a flat for all of you. If you don’t have anyone to come with, don’t worry, we take care of choosing your flatmates.

Apply for a place and we will take care of putting your group of flatmates together, based on your profile and preferences. When you arrive in Pamplona, we will try to assist you with everything you need and help you to get to know other people. At our start of the year event, you will get together with the students staying in our flats, the ‘cohousers’.

If you are not accepted at your place of study, we will refund the cost of reserving your place. You just need to send us proof.

You will be able to move into the Cohousing student flat from September or the last few days in August if you are going to take part in the welcome days at your university. We will contact you during the summer to prepare for your arrival.

Of course! We would love to meet your family and siblings. Tell us if anyone is coming with you and we will provide them with choices of accommodation.

Our apartments have everything you need for everyday living (furniture, household appliances, crockery, cleaning materials…). However, there are certain things that depend on your tastes and the personal hygiene of each individual, so that will be up to each student to bring. You will just need to bring towels, sheets (and duvet) and a lamp for studying.

If you are from a member state of the European Union, you just need to have your DNI or passport in order. If you are coming from a non-European country, you will need to apply for a student visa in your country of origin or residence and, once you arrive in Spain (within a maximum period of 30 days), you will need to apply for a student card (NIE).

In terms of medical insurance, if you are from an EU country, you will need to bring your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) with you. If you are coming from a non-EU country, you should take out medical insurance before you arrive. At Cohousing, we offer the option of taking out comprehensive insurance. Ask us about this and we will advise you.

If you lose the keys, you should contact us immediately, so we can manage the loss and get you some new keys.

Once or twice each term we organise an activity for all our ‘cohousers’. As we know about everything that happens in Pamplona, we share events and cultural options with our students. This, added to what’s on offer at the universities themselves, makes for an incredible variety and lots of potential things to do.

As a member of Cohousing, you’ll have access to the Life Gym sports facilities at a reduced price. It’s a space next to the campus of the University of Navarra, in the neighbourhood of Iturrama, very close to our premises, the flats and the faculties.

Yes, our flats remain open during the Christmas and Easter holidays. In summer, we close for cleaning and refurbishment, but you can ask to extend your accommodation during these months if you need to stay to do an internship or study period.
